Baby Murdering Lowlifes?

In a recent email received in response to TellThem!’s March e-news, TellThem! was referred to as “nothing but a bunch of baby murdering lowlifes”. TellThem! was also labeled as “one of those feminazi groups” that is “not interested in the health and well being of the people of SC”.
This could not be further from the truth. First of all, TellThem! works to prevent unnecessary abortions by supporting legislation that will provide the reproductive health education and access necessary to ensure that less abortions are needed. We believe that if we provide youth with medically accurate information and access to preventative family planning services, there will be less unplanned teenage pregnancies and less need for abortions.
In fact, we do not even discuss legislation that is solely about abortion, since our focus is on prevention.

I agree - prevention is the key.

Kudos to you for getting the e-mail. It means that one more unreasonable, uneducated and silly person feels the crush of progressive activism.

We should all be so thankful that there are people like you that have enough concern for women and teens that you educate us and provide medically accurate information!

Reproductive health education so that women can make choices about their sexual health…supporting prevention…actually, it sounds like you are very supportive of the health and well being of the people of SC!

Tell Them! has the right approach, sharing facts and information (not opinion and judgment) to help avoid unwanted situations. This person, throwing accusatory names and making moral judgements, can only offer criticism and censure, not solutions. We need organizations like Tell Them! to let everyone know what IS and what CAN BE, not what should and shouldn’t be.
